The new Atomic Maverick 88 TI is an awesome option for advanced intermediate to expert level skiers who spend most of their time on the frontside but like to trail off from time to time. In the 88 mm underfoot category, the Maverick 88 Ti is certainly a fine choice for a true all-mountain ski capable of carving like a race ski and floating like a powder ski. As an 88, built with a poplar wood core and two sheets of metal, these skis have a great deal of torsional stiffness, allowing them to hold an edge on any and all snow types, and are able to generate a ton of power and strength on the back end of the turn. 

In a crowded category of all-mountain skis at 88mm underfoot, the Maverick 88 Ti immediately jumps toward the top.

Light Woodcore: Made from poplar wood, this core optimizes the ski’s weight without sacrificing any shock absorption or stability.

Titanium Powered: Actually, not Titanium but rather .4mm layers of Titanal alloy above and below the core.

Sidewalls: Dura Cap Sidewall for power transmission combined with a small cap for durability

HRZN Tech Tip:  HRZN Tech adds 10% more surface area at your ski tips. For awesome flotation in powder plus less tip deflection and better tracking through chop.

WC Base Finish: The 7000-Series sintered bases that are fast on any snow, can stand up to anything, and are easy to maintain.
